Mothers & More is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of mothers through support, education and advocacy. We address mothers’ needs as individuals and members of society, and promote the value of all the work mothers do. Are you a Canonsburg/Peters mom in need of a free evening out with the girls? Would you like to meet other Moms who share your everyday challenges and rewards? Mothers and More can provide you with the opportunity to form playgroups, hear informational speakers, join book clubs or just a chance to relax, talk, and laugh! We are a friendly group of Moms! Come check us out to see what we are all about. We love seeing new faces at our meetings! The Canonsburg/Peters Township functions as a support group for women who have altered their career paths to care for their children. Our chapter has more than 20 members from through out Washington County. Our meetings are held on the first & third Wednesday of each month. Our first monthly meeting is held at Peters Township Library and our second monthly meeting is held at Canonsburg Presbyterian Church. Your are welcome to attend two meetings as our guest before you decide to join! Child care is not provided, however mothers with young infants are welcome to bring their babies.

The Relay Event is open to anyone. You can come the day of the event and just walk the track. There are games, auction baskets, a Catholic Mass, Food, and much more. This is a fun event to bring the family to. The kids enjoy walking or running around the track. Last year the Chick-Fil-A Cow even paid a visit to the event. Stop by our tent at the relay and let the kiddos play our game for a prize & get a tattoo while you check out our auction baskets. We will have a few baskets... some of the treats in the basket will include. Gift card to Trax Farms, 1 free day of a Little Gym Camp, $50.00 dollars to Jay's, Gift card to Olive Garden, Gift Card to The Gap, an item from Jewelery and Gifts from Rebecca, Teaching Heart Goodies, and more!! You can't miss us... Our theme will be Valentine's Day. Check back here before the event to see some pictures and descriptions of the auction baskets we will have at the Relay! The pictures of the items should be online before the end of April!
Some of the activities we do
include: As part of membership, our Chapter offers an email group and a monthly newsletter that will keep you up to date on what is going on in the group! Our email group is very active with at least 1 to 10 emails a day. Our Newsletter is sent out monthly. We also send out evites as reminders of coming events!!!! Mothers and More also provides various chat groups through Yahoo Groups and as a member you will get the Forum, a publication sent out by Mothers and More. Our moms don't like being stuck inside our homes during the winter months, we are busy visiting fun places with our kiddos!!! Come to meeting and learn about where we like to bring the kids to play!
